+ Who is eligible to use the center?
The center is a convenient service to BP employees, spouses, dependents and retirees. Anyone who would like to use the facility is eligible.
+ How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment online or call 281-310-5040.

+ Are appointments required or can I walk in?
Please schedule an appointment to see a provider. Walk-ins will try to be accommodated, but appointments are encouraged in case there is no availability same-day.
+ What services does the health center provide?
The Westlake Health & Wellness Center is your first stop for a diagnosis, routine primary care, prescription refill, annual physical, immunization, or lab work. Please visit the services webpage for more detailed information.
+ Can I do lab/blood test orders from another provider at the center?
Yes, the center can perform blood draws ordered by an outside provider. Please bring your lab orders with you to your appointment.
+ Is the center an approved provider for workers’ compensation claims? If I get hurt on the job, can/should I go to the center?
The center will offer basic first aid and emergency care in certain situations. However, the center is not an approved provider for workers’ compensation claims. If you are experiencing a medical emergency please dial 9-1-1.
+ Who manages the center?
+ Is my health data secure and private? Will my employer have access to my medical records?
Your personal health information is confidential and your data is kept secure. The Westlake Health & Wellness Center operates in accordance with HIPAA and works diligently to protect all health records. Premise Health cannot share any personal health information without your permission. Rest assured, your personal health information is not shared with your employer. Additionally, Premise Health operates through a private network and software systems that cannot be accessed by BP employees. Notice of privacy practices are available for review within the center.
+ Will I have to change my doctor because of the center?
No, you are not required to discontinue services with any of your current/future outside providers.
